Week 4 Gunshots and haircuts

I hope you all got to see President Nelson's birthday celebrations. We watched it for our Sunday night devotional.

Alright so what happened this week. Innumerable shenanigans no doubt. I watched an Elder fencing with an umbrella against a grotesquely large moth. I gained 6kg. A few days ago I was playing volleyball during gym time. After failing to return a ball while up front I somehow managed to catch it atop my head against the net, and balance it for about three seconds until a teammate came forward to recover it. They played on and we won the point. I got an applause. Tonight the celebrations for Mexico's Independence Day begin, and will last the weekend. Mexicans enjoy launching fireworks at jaunty angles, and the ones who are too young for fireworks shoot handguns into the air instead. We are not allowed to be outside after 9pm.

We implemented a class punishment for any missionary who fails to address another by Elder or Hermana. They must hold a bolso blanco (bag full of books) in each had with arms outstretched for a minute. I have already been caught out twice.

I feel I need to give my companion a proper introduction. This is Elder P

. He is from California. He eats cereal for every meal. He puts up with my nonsense 24/7. Once I told him he was a robot and he thought it was a compliment.

Also included are before and after pictures of today's haircut and a secret snapshot of my journal.
