Reassignment

A few days ago we had confirmation of Elder Godivala's local reassignment to the England London Mission, with his first placement to be in... ... ... Eastbourne!

Last night, through priesthood power and under the direction of the First Presidency, Richard was honoured to lay his hands upon his son's head and set him apart, consecrate him, for service as a missionary again. He bestowed a beautiful blessing upon him, promising physical and spiritual protection. This morning we rose early to drive our new-again Elder to Eastbourne and leave him in the care of his two new companions, Elder Poli and Elder Garre. Elder Garre is Spanish which should offer nice language opportunities. Both Elders were very welcoming and friendly. Even in the England London Mission Elder Godivala may have opportunities to teach in Spanish, and possibly in the future serve in a Spanish speaking branch in the city. Understandably this departure did not bring the same joy and excitement as the last. Worldwide, missionaries are confined to their apartments and are attempting to teach and serve the best they can using technology. Elder Godivala has faithfully accepted this call, knowing it will not be easy. If you are a person inclined to prayer, all our missionaries could really use a mention in your prayers. Thank you. Hopefully Elder Godivala will get into the swing and continue to delight us with his writings but under the circumstances I will keep my expectations low.
