Today we, Madre, Padre y hermana, travelled to Manchester to attend the baptism of Elder Godivala's dear school friend Arianwen. It was a beautiful service and a particular blessing to be able to facilitate our Elder's participation, all the way from Costa Rica to Manchester by the miracles of modern technology. When invited I was able to escort Elder Godivala (ie. carry the mobile phone) to the pulpit to share his testimony of the gospel. He also delighted in unmuting his mic to join us in singing the closing hymn, en Español, with only the smallest time delay. And as you see from the pictures, he was clearly delighted to be taking part.
Ari is a wonderful young woman who is gracing all those around her with her beautiful spirit. The congregation around her in the Manchester YSA scene clearly adore her and have been very welcoming. She has the support of her very loving family. It was a truly beautiful service.
